This Thanksgiving was the first Thanksgiving we have had with just our little family. We sure missed our Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. And we are very thankful that next year we will be much closer. But Alan and I had actually a lot of fun in the kitchen together baking pies, mashing potatoes, whisking gravy, and burning two batches of rolls. Of course there were a lot of phone calls home with baking questions. We liked pretending we were on top chef with our quick fire challenge. The boys had a none stop turkey bowl game out in the courtyard which I think Noah said the score was 107 to 13. For him of course. And here is a picture of our Thankful Turkey. It was fun to hear what the boys were grateful for. Here are a few examples: Jets, Haunted Houses, World, Grandparents, Courtyard Friends, Living Prophet, and lets not forget the Wii. It was a great Thanksgiving and we have a lot to be grateful for. Also mom, don't look to close at the pumpkin pie crust. It's looks a little scary but actually tasted pretty good.

The food looks great and the pictures cute--we sure missed you! Let's not do that again. Good job to you "Top Chefs!"
The family looks like they are enjoying the food. I am so proud of you guys. I don't think I could cook a turkey and make pies. We missed you guys alot. I needed you and Alan here to play games with.
