We were finally able to return to the beach yesterday. It was so nice to hear the water, feel the cool breeze, and relax in the warm sand. At one point Meghan turned to me and said, "you know, I'm a beach girl. I could stay out here all day and just read and sleep and listen to the ocean." It was very relaxing. When we left, Noah hit his breaking point. The sand was hot, he was screaming hysterically, and we were on the receiving end of more than a few annoyed looks. We had fun anyway. Enjoy the pics from our time on the beach!

Noah developed a slight obsession with the beauty of seaweed. There was a big pile of it close to where we set up (top right of the photo), and he was tugging it, staring at it, and trying to maneuver it for several minutes. Toward the end of our visit, seaweed floated up next to his leg. He looked down, grabbed it, and triumphantly held it over his head!!

A natural moment we were happy to catch. Sadie and Gabe playing in the sand together. Gabe noticed we were taking pictures, but Sadie was studying the mysteries of sand.

I can't believe that's the same Gabe that used to eat wood chips and an occassional snail. Time flies. We're going to be in Los Angeles in the beginning of July this summer and would love to see your family if you'll still be there. Cute family!
It looks like you guys had a fun day. I love that Noah was obsessed with seaweed and I love the picture of Gabe running. Sadie looks so big sitting playing in the sand.
What's wrong with the Great Salt Lake Beach?! The personalities of the kids really come through those cute pictures. See you in a couple of weeks. We love you!
I didn't even know you guys had a blog!!! How exciting for me! We totally miss you! How are you doing? How is So. Cal?
I can't believe Noah can still fit into his Dash swimming suit. Didn't he get that when he was 2. Sorry mom pointed it out and I had to say something.
