A Day in the Life of the Mouritsens

Many of you already know what we're up to. For those who don't, we are at Stanford University, where Alan is just finishing up his second year at the law school. Only one more to go! Yippee!!!! Having little Sadie and trying to juggle three kids with Al's intense school schedule has been a little crazy. So we are all looking forward for a fun relaxing summer. This summer we're going to spend the first part in Los Angeles, where Alan will be working at Gibson, Dunn, & Crutcher. We'll return to Utah for the second half, and Alan will work at Snell & Wilmer. It should be an adventure!

Noah J is growing up so fast! He is now four and a half and is already planning his football b-day party in August. He goes to Bing Nursery School. Bing is like a miniature university, with an extremely competitive admissions process and tuition rates through the roof! (luckily Noah, based on his stunning good looks and bright sense of humor, was awarded a partial scholarship). He loves to play basketball, football, and soccer (in that order), playing with friends in the courtyard, and anything to do with numbers.

Gabe just turned three in March with a Thomas the Train party! We're in the middle of potty-training which, surprisingly, is going pretty well. The only problem is he thinks his bum is too big for the little training toilet! He is our wild man. Gabe is pretty rambunctious in the courtyard and everyone seems to be slightly scared of him. He is our little artist and loves to paint and draw on everything. He also has a passion for swinging.

Sadie is now six months old and loving life. She just started eating solids but oddly enough she loves her veggies and gags on her fruits. She can sit all by herself and loves to play with her toys and big brothers. Most of all she loves sleeping in her parents' arms. We know, we know, poor sleep training. We're just trying to survive.
